Overview

Introduction

This workshop is part of a series in the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Practitioner Level Programme. It is designed for MOD ILS Practitioners working towards their ILS Licence. It builds upon the knowledge gained via an on-line course which precedes it.

Aim

The aim of this interactive workshop is to build upon the preceding e-learning through discussion and activities. Delegates will cover the management processes for assessing training requirements for a capability and ensuring that those requirements are met.

Objectives

By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to: 

  • Recall the policy documents that relate to training management; 
  • Explain the process for assessing training requirements for a new capability; 
  • Describe the sequence of activities within a Training Needs Analysis; 
  • Define the roles of the Training Requirements Authority and the Training Delivery Authority; 
  • Complete a high level Scoping Exercise and Scoping Study for a given case Study.
